Purchase of the Farmstead
The Historic Marbold Farmstead Association purchased the Marbold Farmstead on March 27, 2012. The picture above was at the signing of the deed.
On Wednesday, September 10, 2014, the final payment was made on the mortgage. This payment was made 3 1/2 years early due to the dedication of board members, members, donors, and volunteers who supported HMFA's plans and goals for the Farmstead.
Currently the HMFA and Farmstead supporters are working to prepare the site for visits from and viewing by the public. Click on Events at the top of the page to see when tours and other events are scheduled..
